OUR MISSION: Czar’s Promise supports families whose cherished dogs and cats are facing cancer by providing financial assistance for chemotherapy and/or radiation treatment, along with emotional support and trusted resources throughout their journey. We also invest in innovative cancer research in Madison, bringing together experts in human and veterinary medicine to advance treatments and create hope for children and companion animals facing cancer.
WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES: Donations to Czar’s Promise provide financial assistance to dogs and cats receiving chemotherapy and/or radiation treatment at one of four veterinary oncology centers in Madison.
Gifts also support our Woof & Meow Packs, filled with comfort items and trusted resources for families beginning a pet cancer journey.
Czar’s Promise provides grant funding for pediatric cancer research at The American Family Children’s Hospital, along with pet cancer research at UW-Madison. Every gift helps us care for families facing cancer today while advancing research that may create better treatments.
WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT US:
- Give a financial gift to help provide chemotherapy and radiation treatment for local dogs and cats with cancer, while also supporting pediatric and companion animal cancer research in Madison.
- Register, form a team or fundraise for our annual fall Inspiring Hope Walk, which brings hundreds of people and their pets together to celebrate cancer-fighting heroes, remember those we have lost and raise funds.
- Volunteer and help with the Inspiring Hope Walk, community events, Woof & Meow Packs and other Czar’s Promise programs throughout the year.
- Donate items for our Woof & Meow Packs, including blankets, treats, toys and other comfort items given to families whose pets are beginning their cancer journey.
