Logan’s Heart and Smiles: Where Every Child Can Thrive

FOUNDED: 2002

OUR MISSION: Logan’s Heart and Smiles builds home modifications that provide accessibility, safety and sensory support for children with disabilities and their families while growing relationships among the families we help and our community. We have completed over 500 accessible, safe and sensory friendly home modifications for children with disabilities.

WHERE YOUR MONEY GOES: Donations are applied to construction materials and labor costs associated with building home modifications such as wheelchair ramps, safety fences, bathroom remodels, custom beds and more. Funds are also used to provide free events and outings for the children with disabilities we serve and their families as part of the Beyond the Build program, such as a day at the movies or dinner out with other caregivers.

WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT US:

  • Monetary donations cover home modifications when other funding sources cannot, allowing a child to have an accessible, safe home. Our Beyond the Build program can also remain free to participants to build community with other children with disabilities, siblings and caregivers.
  • Volunteer to help our operations. We are looking for a graphic designer to join our marketing team and board members to help guide our organization for a strong future.
  • Sponsor and attend fundraising events like our Pot O’ Gold in March or our annual fundraiser in May. Or, host your own fundraising event with Logan’s as the beneficiary.
  • Spread the word by sharing our mission with others.

“Logan’s Heart and Smiles eliminates physical and social barriers so children with disabilities and their families can safely and comfortably thrive in their homes and community.”
