Get ready to ring in July with street festivals, concerts and summertime get-togethers.

Lakefront Live with Outdoor UW

July 11, UW-Madison Memorial Union Terrace

Join The Material Boys, a Bluegrass and ’80s cover band, at the Terrace for a night full of music. Paddlecraft (kayaks, SUPs and more) are available to rent from Outdoor UW, so attendees can float on Lake Mendota while listening to tunes.

La Fête De Marquette

July 11-14, McPike Park

This free musical celebration is produced by the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center and Presented by Willy Street Co-op. The four-day event will host a series of performances on six separate stages with various genres of music and a karaoke face-off competition. 

Art Fair on the Square

July 13-14, Capitol Square

The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art presents this popular outdoor art fair with over 500 artists, circling the Capitol Square. Check out paintings, prints, jewelry and more in scenic downtown.

Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation Golf Outing

July 16, University Ridge Golf Course

The Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides Wisconsin women health education, services and support. The golf outing welcomes men’s, women’s and coed teams and includes games, prizes and a post-round reception dinner.

Maxwell Street Days

July 18-21, State Street

For four days, State Street will host its largest sidewalk sale with clothing, art, books, sporting goods, food and more. This outdoor market is put on by the Madison Central Business Improvement District, a membership organization of State Street and Capitol Square-area businesses.

Halo Halo Food Truck Pop-Up

July 21, Working Draft Beer

Head to Working Draft Beer Company to try fare from Halo Halo, a woman-owned food truck that serves Asian-inspired bowls, rolls and more, alongside beer from the venue.

2024 Flying Scot Women’s North American Championship

July 26–28, Olbrich Park

The Lake Monona Sailing Club will host the Midwest District 2024 Women’s North American Sailing Championship on Lake Mendota. Watch practice as well as official races will for three days, followed by a dinner, music and awards.

July 27, The Sylvee

Maren Morris’s RSVP Redux Tour makes a pit stop in Madison with Delacey on July 27. The Grammy Award-winning artist and critically-acclaimed album title holder will bring her country and pop flair to the stage at The Sylvee.

 Atwood Fest

July 27–28, Atwood Avenue

The Clyde Stubblefield, Luther Allison and Sugar Maple stages will light up Atwood Avenue with live music at this year’s Atwood Fest. Catch good tunes and food vendors during the fest.
