Renee and Seth Spicer started Floret and Pine so they could create 100 percent biodegradable winter wreaths. Floret and Pine weaves holiday joy with handmade and locally sourced evergreens and branches. Its wreaths are available for purchase every year between Veterans Day—Nov. 11—and New Year’s. The company donates 22 percent of its wreath sales to Stop Soldier Suicide, an organization dedicated to preventing active duty and veteran suicides, which occur some 22 times a day.
