The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is another fun stop — this free art museum showcases self-taught and contemporary artists’ works.
EAT: Treat yourself to a fine-dining journey at The Immigrant Restaurant, the award-winning signature eatery at the historic The Ameri- can Club hotel. The elegant restaurant’s six rooms — and many of the dishes on its five-course tasting menu — pay homage to Wisconsin’s early French, German, English, Dutch, Danish and Norman settlers. SIP: Linger over coffees at The Greenhouse, an antique solarium brought from England and reassembled on the grounds of The American Club. Colorful stained-glass windows create a magical, storybook setting.
