What home trends are you most excited about right now?
- Rich wood cabinets in moody blues and deep greens, and natural materials like soapstone countertops provide a cozy, timeless vibe [in kitchens].
- Sofas, tables and mirrors with gentle curves add a soft, organic touch to interiors. Arched designs in doorways and mirrors also bring a playful yet elegant aesthetic to any space.
- Fully enclosed glass showers create a spa-like atmosphere with options for steam and aromatherapy.
- Incorporating natural elements like plants, wood and stone to connect indoor spaces with nature.
- Bold, veined marble and other striking stone materials used in countertops, backsplashes and more.
How do you incorporate a client’s personality into your designs?
It’s about listening, observing and translating their unique story into the space. For example, imagine a book-loving client who also loves entertaining. We might design a living room with custom-built, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and a cozy reading nook. For entertaining, we’d integrate modular seating and a sleek bar cart to keep the space flexible and functional. Adding personal touches, such as lighting inspired by their favorite design era or art that resonates with their travels, and the room becomes a true extension of who they are.
