HOW WE HELP: Community Shares of Wisconsin works with close to 70 nonprofits. We raise funds and promote awareness of the local social and environmental justice movement.
THE IMPACT OF YOUR GIFT: As a member nonprofit-directed organization, we represent our nonprofit groups in workplace giving campaigns. In partnership with Willy Street Co-op, we raise funds through the Community CHIP program, where owners may add a 1% donation on their grocery bills. Community Shares hosts The Big Share online giving day annually in March. As a resource hub, we provide leadership development, fundraising and social media communications training and low- cost office space and access to shared technology and resources. We also offer a shared 401k plan to member nonprofits.
