Let these six events be your “pot of gold” when celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year.

Madison Shamrock Shuffle

March 16, 600 block of State Street

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County puts on the annual Madison Shamrock Shuffle, and this year participants can choose a 5K or 10K run, or a 5K walk. (There’s also a virtual option.) This cheerful activity raises thousands of dollars and helps the youth organization put on programs at local schools, offer kid and teen clubs and after-school services, and assists young people with workforce development opportunities at the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center. bgcdc.org/shamrockshuffle
