June 13, North Carroll and West Mifflin Streets on the Capitol Square, in addition to State and Gilman Streets

Local artisans, businesses and food and gift vendors will gather on selected downtown blocks to liven up downtown Madison. Catch live music on the Peace Park stage and throughout the market.

2024 Loop the Lake Benefit Bike Ride

June 15, Olbrich Park

Hosted by the Clean Lakes Alliance, the Loop the Lake Benefit Bike Ride around Lake Monona fundraises to keep the Greater Madison lakes in good health. Activities along the route include an Aldo Leopold Center education station, salsa music by Orquesta SalSoul at Grand Crossing Park and history talks by guide from the Ho-Chunk Nation at Hudson Park.

Madison Jazz Festival: Jazz on the Terrace

June 15 & 16, Memorial Union Terrace

Madison celebrates jazz city-wide at this festival that started June 7 and ends June 16. On June 15, the Terrace will host free performances by the headlining, GRAMMY-nominated Orrin Evans Quartet, the Madison Jazz Fest High School All Stars, Gerri DiMaggio and friends featuring Peter Dominguez, Heirloom and ¡Azucar!: A celebration honoring Celia Cruz featuring Betty Guerrero y La Combi. On Sunday catch A.S.T.R.O., We Exist! Dee Dee Bridgewater Quartet and more.
