For three weekends Madison’s longest running theatre company, Madison Theatre Guild, performs Oscar Wilde’s beloved comedy An Ideal Husband at the historic Bartell Theatre.

In this amusing modern spin on Wilde’s tale of money, malice and matrimony. hilarity and drama ensue as The Chilterns navigate the perils of protecting their moral high ground while campaigning, being blackmailed and partying amongst The Real Housewives of D.C.
