Madison Bach Musicians presents J. S. Bach’s Mass in B minor

Timeless. Enduring. Monumental. Bach’s Mass in B minor is regarded as one of the supreme achievements of classical music. Audiences the world over, whatever their religious or spiritual beliefs, are moved by the work’s unforgettable power, emotion, technical brilliance, and boundless joy – a masterpiece that unifies and heals.
Internationally acclaimed conductor, Andrew Megill, from Northwestern University, will lead a 14-member vocal ensemble and Madison Bach Musicians’ period-instrument orchestra. As Bach intended, MBM will perform on gut-strung violins, Baroque oboes and oboes d’amore, Baroque bassoons, flutes, and trumpets — along with goatskin timpani, natural horn, and chamber organ.
