MADISON BACH MUSICIANS: CLASSICAL SYMPHONIES

SYMPHONIC THRILLS! PASTORAL SETTING! Madison Bach Musicians’ 22nd season opens on October 4 & 5 presenting a program of symphonic masterworks by Joseph Haydn, Luigi Boccherini, and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach — “Classical Symphonies” — evoking an emotional range from “Storm & Stress” to “Sunny Lyricism” to “the Daring Turn.” Led by internationally renowned violinist and guest director Marc Destrubé, MBM will field a complete Classical-period chamber orchestra: violins, violas, cellos, and bass (strung with gut and played with period bows), harpsichord continuo, Classical oboes, and natural valveless horns (from the hunt to the concert hall!). Don’t miss the pre-concert lecture. Learn more and purchase in-person and/or on-demand tickets at https://madisonbachmusicians.org/classical-symphonies/
