Troy Farm Harvest Fest

Oct. 5, Troy Gardens

Troy Community Gardens is a space for community gardeners to grow fresh produce in Madison. Troy Farms’ last event of the summer season is Harvest Fest, a day full of autumn-inspired activities including apple cider pressing, a mini farm market, you-pick produce and herbs, a land tour, yard games, wood-fired pizzas and more.

Farley Center Fall Festival 2024

Oct. 6, Farley Center

From 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., head to the Farley Center in Verona for apple picking, apple cider making in a 180-year-old press, a tour of the Natural Path Sanctuary, music and other activities. The Linda and Gene Farley Center for Peace, Justice and Sustainability is a space for social change, justice and sustainability.

Bike Donation Drives (Bikes for Kids Wisconsin)

Bikes for Kids Wisconsin provides bikes at no cost to marginalized groups who need them. Gather up your unused, old or outgrown bikes and bring them here. Bikes are either fixed up or are used for spare parts to fix other bikes.

Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics

This candlelight concert includes an evening of Halloween-inspired classics (think: Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” the “Ghostbusters” theme and more) performed by the Listeso String Quartet, amongst the glow of candles.
