Poem Games: Making a Play at a Poetry Practice

This three-week poetry workshop isn’t just fun and games — it’s a chance to rethink the barriers that lead us to take our creative work too seriously. Whether you are a current writer getting out of a creative rut or a new writer having trouble getting started, this workshop will help you approach poetry in new and playful ways. Looking at poems by others and writing work of our own, we will engage with processes, rulemaking and “games” to introduce chance, surprise, fun and inspiration to our poems.
