Neurodivergence diagnoses are often missed in females as it often presents differently than in males. Hear from Nanette Negri, PhD as she shares her extensive expertise as to what neurodivergence is and what falls under its umbrella, as well as sensory exercises to better our understanding of the autism experience. She will also detail several important and effective support strategies that can be useful in the workplace and beyond.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Nanette Negri, PhD, has dedicated her life to supporting individuals with autism and other neurophysiological differences and their families. She authored “Walk a While in my Autism” and co-authored “Progress Without Punishment: Effective Approaches for Learners with Behavior Problems.” She has served as a classroom teacher, a signed-speech specialist, and an administrator for a state-wide system of services. She currently runs a consulting practice called Autism Resources Network, providing consultation to schools and agencies and direct supportive therapies for individuals and families.
