DESCRIPTION:Every month this summer\, enjoy free concerts at MCM featuring an eclectic mix of Madison bands. Adults get to dance and chat\, kids climb and play\, and caregivers enjoy low-stress social time in an outdoor space like no other! \nOn August 1\, we’re welcoming three superb samba groups to the MCM stage: Grupo Balança\, The Handphibians\, and Ótimo Dance. Be sure to grab a delicious dinner from La Belle and a dreamy dessert from Stellie’s Ice Cream cart—both for-purchase options in the Wonderground. \nLive from the Wonderground admission is free! You may choose to provide a donation at the door\, but no entry fee is required. Proceeds benefit the work of Madison Children’s Museum and allow us to bring accessible programming to our community. All tickets are at the door\, no advance registration. Please enter at the Wonderground gate on E. Dayton Street\, by the Log Cabin. \nLive from the Wonderground brings music\, dancing\, food\, and drinks for all ages to downtown Madison’s most creative playground\, the Wonderground. This first Friday concert series features local bands\, drinks\, light snacks\, and fresh air fun. The much-anticipated summer music series promotes inclusivity for all ages and is a great way to get down and dance with your friends\, family\, or coworkers.  \nFood and cocktails are available for purchase at 4:30 PM. Lake Vista Café will be open for your enjoyment along with La Taguara\,  Melly Mells Catering\, and Kipps Kitchen. Visa and MasterCard accepted. Feel free to bring a blanket\, chair\, and picnic basket Sorry\, carry-in alcohol is prohibited. Seating on the rooftop is limited. \nIn the case of inclement weather\, the August 1\, 8\, 15 and 22 concerts will be moved inside Monona Terrace. In the case of inclement weather on August 29 the concert will be moved to the Alliant Energy Center.
