In the Western hemisphere\, the World Migratory Bird Day is celebrated in Canada and the United States on the 2nd Sunday of May and in Mexico\, South and Central America\, and the Caribbean on the 2nd Sunday of October. \nThis year’s theme: ‘Every bird counts. Your observations matter.’ \nJoin us for birdwatching hikes\, family-friendly activities\, and informative discussions at San Damiano Park. \nWorld Migratory Bird Day Logo\nSchedule of Activities: \n8am: Birdwatching hikes led by Mary Murrell and Jeff Galligan \n9am to Noon: Family-friendly activities presented by Aldo Leopold Nature Center and the Monona Public Library.
