May 3, 2017 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

You might have an idea for a social enterprise–now what? This comprehensive social entrepreneurship training program is for teens (9th – 12th Graders) aspiring to cultivate their entrepreneurial spirits while creating individual or group-designed business or business-like ventures that promote positive change in their communities. The first series of interactive sessions identify skills and interests; increase awareness of social and environmental issues that are personally significant; and develop basic business skills including idea development, marketing, money management, funding and writing a basic business plan and “Elevator Speech.” Get hands-on experience making business presentations by pitching your social enterprise idea for a chance to win seed money and other business-related prizes.

The final sessions offer coaching where concepts are polished and applied to the social enterprise start-up.
